Lakeview borders the south side of Henderson Lake Park and, as a result, residents are within walking distance and are able to enjoy the many benefits of the park. Henderson Lake Golf Club and Exhibition Park are also just a short walk away. The neighbourhood is also home to a number of smaller parks and green strips, with the largest being Lakeview Park. Lakeview consists of mostly single-family houses with a few multi-family residences located closer to Mayor Magrath Dr. The majority of homes in this area were built between 1950s and late 1970s.
