Park Crossings

The Crossings is located in the far west corner of the city, north of Whoop Up Drive. Construction in this neighbourhood began in 2014. The Crossings has been designed to become a thriving urban village with residential, retail, commercial and recreational facility development. The Crossings is home to Chinook High School, Catholic Central High School West Campus and Lethbridge Public Library Crossings Branch. This neighbourhood will also be home to the Crossings Leisure Complex featuring twin ice arenas, 10-sheet curling facility; a future aquatic centre with leisure pool, waterslides, a lazy river and whirlpools; and a future multi-sport field house, fitness centre, gymnasiums, indoor track and indoor playground. The Crossings also features The Crossings Wet Pond and The Crossings Park.

West Lethbridge will continue to be an exciting place to live and visit as it grows. New services, neighbourhoods, recreation facilities, businesses and roads are being built and are all in support of a vibrant lifestyle for Lethbridge residents. West Lethbridge is now seeing a flurry of new development, infrastructure projects and other improvements all aimed towards building a better, more livable West Lethbridge.

Nicholas Sheran Park is the premier west side park featuring a man made lake, a great pathway system, large open spaces, disk golf, a large playground, fitness equipment, a small picnic shelter.

This park features 2 km of granular trails through a beautiful biodiverse cottonwood forest.

This river valley park holds many great activities such as an observatory, sheltered picnic area, and access for fishing.

Situated in the South West corner of Alberta with a beautiful coulee and river bottom separating the city in half. Connecting the two parts of the city is the iconic High Level Bridge. This super-sunny city has a massive urban parks system thanks to a ravine created by the local river. Warm Chinook winds keep winter temperatures on the mild side.

The Lethbridge Viaduct, commonly known as the High Level Bridge, was constructed between 1907–1909 at Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada at a cost of $1,334,525.
