The Crossings is located in the far west corner of the city, north of Whoop Up Drive. Construction in this neighbourhood began in 2014. The Crossings has been designed to become a thriving urban village with residential, retail, commercial and recreational facility development. The Crossings is home to Chinook High School, Catholic Central High School West Campus and Lethbridge Public Library Crossings Branch. This neighbourhood will also be home to the Crossings Leisure Complex featuring twin ice arenas, 10-sheet curling facility; a future aquatic centre with leisure pool, waterslides, a lazy river and whirlpools; and a future multi-sport field house, fitness centre, gymnasiums, indoor track and indoor playground. The Crossings also features The Crossings Wet Pond and The Crossings Park.
