Talk to your agent ASAP and explain the issue. Being honest and upfront about it is way better than not telling us. Your rent is due on the 1st of every month. You are responsible for paying your rent in a timely manor but when unforeseen events happen there may be a time that rent is a struggle. Let us know as there are community supports to help.

The Lethbridge housing Authority may be able to help you. The Rent Supplement Program is intended to assist households in need to obtain affordable and suitable rental housing accommodations by subsidizing rent in the private sector.

Under the Canada-Alberta Housing Benefit, the Governments of Canada and Alberta jointly provide funding for the Rent Supplement Program.

Your local church or community group may be able to help with a one time payment assist.
