What is the move in process?

Step 1

You will need to make sure your first months rent and the security deposit have both been paid in full before the move in day. Paying by etransfer to payments@hometimecanada.com is the easiest way to make these first payments but there are other methods of paying if you prefer. Please make sure you clearly identify who you are and the address of the house you will be living in when sending this payment. If your bank has a daily limit on funds that can be sent in a day plan ahead and send a few days in advance. We MUST have payment in full before keys can be given to you.
Your agent and you will book a time to meet and do a move in inspection together. This inspection can take about half an hour so make sure to allow for that before you start moving belongings into the house. If you have friends, family or movers helping you with the move keep the inspection time in mind as they can not start bringing in possessions until the inspection is complete. Its also best if there are not extra people there for the move in inspection as it can be very distracting and it is important that both you and the agent are able to see and document the condition of the property at move in. Your move in report is called a Periodic Inspection report (PIR) and this will be kept in your Tenant web portal to view at any time https://htps.twa.rentmanager.com/
