Many areas of this neighbourhood are being revitalized with infill houses. London Road is one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Lethbridge and it is the location of the house of Lethbridge's first mayor. London Road features a number of parks in the area including Kinsmen Park, London Road Park, and Kiwanis Park. It also has a number of properties that feature coulee views along the west border of the neighbourhood. London Road borders downtown and contains many small businesses such as the Urban Grocer and Crazy Cakes.
South Side Attractions
South Lethbridge is the heart of our city, with more shopping and amenities than any other side of the city. Home to our hospital, college, Enmax center, city hall, indoor shopping malls and a huge collection of big box stores; this side of town is perfect for young and old alike.
Situated in the South West corner of Alberta with a beautiful coulee and river bottom separating the city in half. Connecting the two parts of the city is the iconic High Level Bridge. This super-sunny city has a massive urban parks system thanks to a ravine created by the local river. Warm Chinook winds keep winter temperatures on the mild side.
