Legacy Ridge / Hardieville Neighbourhood

Legacy Ridge is a newer neighbourhood whose first homes were completed in 2007, and development and construction continues today. It runs from 26 Ave N up to 40 Ave N, and from Scenic Dr N / 13 St N west to the coulees. The streets in Legacy Ridge are named after influential women from Lethbridge's past. Coulee views are available along its western border. Elizabeth McKillop Park and Elma Groves Park are located in Legacy Ridge, which also provides access to Peenaquim Park (an off-leash dog park), Alexander Wilderness Park and Softball Valley. Legacy Ridge is home to Legacy Lodge, an assisted living facility for seniors, and to the Stafford Drive North Recycling Station. Hardieville is located directly north of Legacy Ridge and runs from 9 St N to 13 St N, and from 40 Ave N to 44 Ave N. Homes date back to 1908 and reach up to the present. Hardieville was annexed to the City of Lethbridge in 1978. It is a neighbourhood in transition, with construction of numerous infill homes. Hardieville is home to Georgetown Park, and Pavan Park borders it to the north.
